Macaroni and Cheese

This recipe is from Marianne and is the best Mac and Cheese I have ever had. I have added measurements for a half recipe of this dish. (in brackets)

Pasta Pasta Cheezy 30-To-An-Hour

Ingredients

8 oz cooked macaroni (2 cu. Raw) [4oz] (1 cu)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese [1cu]
½ cup Parmesan cheese [¼ cu]
3 cups milk [1-½ cu]
2-½ T flour [1-½ T]
¼ cu butter [2 T]

Directions

Cook macaroni and drain & set aside
Melt ¼ cu. Butter. Add 2-½ T flour and stir to form a paste. Slowly add 3 cups of milk and stir to smoothness. Add cheddar and parmesan cheese.
Add cheese sauce to drained macaroni

Topping if desired (I prefer it without)

½ cu. Bread crumbs
¼ cu butter
Paprika

Melt butter. Add bread crumbs and toast to a golden brown. Spread over the top of the finished mac and cheese. Sprinkle with Paprika and bake.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. (Use 9x13 baking dish)
