Peach Cobbler
The "old" way.
Ingredients
2 t. baking powder
¾ cu. milk
1 cu. sugar
¾ cu. flour
Combine the following to make the filling:
2 cu. fresh sliced peaches or 2 cu. drained canned peaches
1 cu. Sugar
Directions
Combine the above ingredients to make a batter
Melt 6 T margarine in 1-½ qt. baking dish. When melted, add the batter. DO NOT STIR!!! Pour peach and sugar mixture into middle of batter. AGAIN, DO NOT STIR!!!
Bake at 350F for one hour.
Note: You can make this recipe using canned pitted tart cherries, or fresh blueberries or fresh apples!!
