Toll House Recipe

Ingredients

1 cu. margarine
1 cu. white sugar
1 cu. brown sugar
2 eggs
2-¼ cu. flour
1 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
1 t. vanilla
1 lg. pkg. chocolate chips (12 oz.)

Directions

Beat together the butter, white sugar, brown sugar and eggs until fluffy. Gradually add the flour, salt, baking soda and vanilla. By hand, stir in the chocolate chips.

Note: If you want to use different types of chips, such as peanut butter or butterscotch or chocolate-mint, or any combination of these with chocolate chips, this same recipe is used. Also, if you wish, nuts can be added.

Bake at 375F for about 10 minutes. Makes about 6 doz. cookies.
