Coconut Macaroons

This recipe was taken from the Baker's Coconut Package

Cookie Desserts Coconut Snacks

Ingredients

1 pkg. Coconut - 14 oz.
2/3 cu. sugar
6 T flour
¼ t salt
4 egg whites
1 t almond extract

Directions

Mix coconut, sugar, flour and salt in large bowl. Stir in egg whites and almond extract until well blended. Drop by T onto Greased cookie sheets (I use parchment paper on the cookie sheet instead of greasing the sheet – I just spray the parchment paper with a little Pam.)

Bake at 325 for 20 minutes or until edges of cookies are golden brown. Immediately remove from the cookie sheet. Makes about 3 dozen.
