Mongolian Beef - Slow Cooker
Really delicious served over rice, egg noodles, or crispy Chinese noodles.
Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs flank steak - sliced thinly against the grain.
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 T olive oil
1 t minced garlic
1 t minced ginger
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
Green onions for garnish
I added Baby Bok Choy to the beef mixture during last half hour of cooking time. Just placed it on top of meat and mixed it in when 30 minutes was up.
Directions
Put steak pieces in crockpot. Mix the other ingredients together and pour over steak. Mix a bit.
Cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4-5 hours. I prefer to use the low setting.
Garnish with green onion.
