Corned Beef and Cabbage soup
Easy and very good.
Ingredients
4 cups chicken broth
1 bottle beer
1 1/2 lbs. corned beef - cut unto chunks - and if there is a seasoning packet with the beef use that too in this soup.
Diced carrots
Diced celery
Diced onion
Small head cabbage, cored and shredded
1 bay leaf
Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
Add all ingredients to crockpot and mix well. Cook on low for 8 hours.
Shred the beef and return it to the soup.
Remove bay leaf. Add salt and pepper if needed.
