Bangers and Mash with Guinness Onion Gravy

Really good gravy. Not even going to give instructions for roasting, or frying, or bbq sausages. Nor for mashed potatoes.
The gravy recipe follows

Gooey Meat 30-Or-Less

Ingredients

4 T butter
1 onion thinly sliced
4 T flour
1 bottle Guinness beer - or really whatever beer you have.
1 1/2 cups broth (beef, chicken, vegetable, your choice)
1 T Dijon mustard
1 T Worcestershire Sauce
2 T brown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

In large skillet, over medium high heat, cook and stir onions in butter about 20 minutes until caramelized.
Add flour. Cook a few minutes until golden brown.
Add beer, broth, Dijon, Worcestershire, sugar, salt and pepper. Reduce heat to low and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
This recipe made a lot of gravy, but I found it freezes just great
