Dauphinoise Potatoes

Very classy, and tasty, version of a potato casserole.

Potato Casserole Cheezy

Ingredients

2 T margarine
1 clove garlic, minced
4 lg. potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 beaten egg
3 cu. hot milk
1-¼ cups Gruyere, Swiss or Cheddar Cheese
pinch of nutmeg

Directions

Use margarine to grease casserole dish. Sprinkle with minced garlic. Place sliced potatoes into casserole. Mix egg, milk and cheese together and pour over potatoes. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 350F for 1-¼ hours or until tender.
